I am still not exactly sure of your point - but then i read the words that are written rather than what might have been intended. I don't like guesswork.

Maybe you were trying to say that these changes have happened because something was wrong financially. I don't think that - the evidence we have so far doesn't support that and I don't think Dirk would front up to shareholders so early in his period as CEO if that were the case.

Of course we won't know for sure who is right and who is wrong on that score till after the end of the financial year but I think Taurean's charts present a reasonably cogent argument, even if we don't want to believe the company any more.

Let's consider yet another possibility. Last year they failed to meet the expectations they had created and they suffered for it, in terms of trust, share price and reputation. Now in my book the top dog is accountable for that - especially when they are both the top executive an the chairman.

Accountability could have come in the form of another strike at the upcoming AGM. or.....
