I agree it is most definitely not helpful.
That said, and I am guessing, but I would have thought that come July it might be different. Almost always a new CEO brings something different to the table and almost always communication will reflect their style preferences. I am also guessing we are in a transition phase.
I shall bide my time and hope like hell that we get a clear run from the end of june.
