If you can trade in and out of this stock successfully and make decent money, then that deserves a gold medal because short of having a crystal ball, I certainly can't do it so because I happen to believe the business is a good one, I have more confidence in sitting on my hands rather than selling and hoping for a better entry price as you suggest and then having to wait another 12 months to get the tax discount. No thanks. Happy to take my chances and hold whilst waiting for the inevitable re-rate.
