MINERAL RESOURCE INCREASED 61% FROM 46.2 MT TO 74 MT
JABAL SAYID NOW CONTAINS ~1,000,000T COPPER AND ~440,000T ZINC

Highlights:
• 61% increase in the Mineral Resource at Jabal Sayid from 46.2 Mt to 74.3 Mt
• This Total 74 Mt Indicated & Inferred Mineral Resource comprises:
- 52 Mt at 1.6% Cu & 0.1% Zn Stringer/Stockwork Cu
- 4 Mt at 1.9% Cu & 1.3% Zn Massive Sulphide Cu/Zn
- 18 Mt at 2.2% Zn & 0.4% Cu Massive Sulphide Zn/Au
• Uplift in contained Copper (Cu) of 20% to ~1,000,000 tonnes contained Cu and
increase in contained Zinc (Zn) of +400% to 440,000 tonnes contained Zn.
• Lode 4 includes a high grade core of 25 Mt at 2.3% Cu (1% Cu domain boundary)
which is open at depth, contains over 100,000 tonnes per vertical metre, and
should be amenable to bulk underground mining.
• The current estimate excludes gold (Au) and silver (Ag) credits.
• The resource was based on all data available as at 15 January 2008 and remains
open at depth and along strike in most directions.
• A further updated Mineral Resource is planned to be completed later in 2008.
