Despite KAB's chequered history , I am fairly upbeat about its prospects.....It has achieved what many outfits several times its MC aspire to achieve.
1) Offtake agreement with a major.
2) Secure funding.
3) Moving to production.
Others are drilling....run out of cash....raise more cash....get diluted....Drill again...A never ending story.
The vast majority of minnows spend their life drilling....Many have JORC.....What's next?.....Let's drill more.....It's a lot of fun.
KAB deserves a little respect....A rather unorthodox approach to have an offtake agreement & start production before defining a JORC , but confidence must be very high for Noble to "fall for it"....we must remember that we have 4 eyes of the 2 "Noble Men" watching over us.....A win for them/OKAB/Celtic is certainly a big win for us little guys.
We should also remember that Africa is the next growth frontier...this is why China & the US are interested in this neglected part of the world.....Doing business in Africa will get easier....Logistics will have to improve......KAB's production may even get sold locally.
KAB is moving into production in the right place at a proper juncture.
Early days ....but far better odds than others that are bound for extinction ( but not before they drill a bit more)
