Interestingly, four of the directors on the board of Indosat Ooredoo are new appointments within the last 12 months. Clearly the share price has been under pressure for the last two-years, so maybe a strategy from the group to shake things up a bit.
Two of the latest appointments came after our last announcement regarding progress with Indosat Ooredoo, which may explain the delay we are experiencing:
Director & Chief Operating Officer
Haroon Shahul Hameed was appointed as Director & Chief Operating Officer at Indosat Ooredoo Annual General Shareholders Meeting (AGMS) held on 8 May 2018.
He is a specialist in start-ups and turnaround in the telecom sector, and has worked/supported many markets across Asia, the Middle East and Northern Africa backed by 24 years of experience.
Chief Technology & Information Officer
Dejan Kastelic was appointed as a Chief Technology and Information Officer of Indosat Ooredoo on May 24, 2017.
He has more than 16 years outstanding achievement and experience in multi country roles in telecommunication industry. He is an expert in people management skills and technical knowledge while underpinned by financial and commercial background. He is also recognized as a change agent and problem-solver with agile principles, passionate for technology innovations with ability to form self-directed winning teams.
