He is the CCO (Chief Consumer Officer) for Ooredoo Qatar, and has a history with Telstra in Australia. I believe the role of CCO is the equivalent of Chief Marketing Officer. It may have no bearing on progress, but the Australian connection is interesting.

Apologies all, I got my date wrong on this one and the CTO position. He was appointed in 2017, as was the Chief Technology Officer; not in 2018 as I previously stated.

I still think it's of interest.
