An impressive outcome. Strip slightly up (15%), but.. longer mine life, though I think they are basically already decided on expanding the plant. A 2.5mtpa extra throughput at 0.9g/t are recoveries might see them add around 65k p.a at full tilt, so production profile nudging up towards175k p.a, which would mirror the planned Mt Gibson figures. Push CMM past 300k p.a. Though of course, mine life will be reduced, but.... perhaps that in turn will justify an even larger cut back later in the LOM plan.
If I put on my negative hat, I wonder if this move might be to paper over that Mt Gibson is still a long way off producing... (just seems like the permitting is taking longer than expected, but that is pure speculation on my part).
