There is a really good chance that we are looking at these projects. When ROG bid on Angola, the company didn't make any announcements or mention it. I only found out about it because someone in here mentioned it. To confirm that it was true, I had to search news articles on African oil sales, where I found our bid listed in the paperwork.

I don't understand why we are not informed when we throw our hat in the ring for these assets. Yes, the share price may rise when they announce they are bidding and then drop when they announce they didn't get it. However, making bids for these assets, especially if they have a significant value, should warrant an announcement.

Say we did win the bid on Angola. Because the information was available to the public via other means, the company could have faced significant backlash from investors who would have bought in or bought more if ROG had correctly informed the public.
