i think some people might need a visual, consider a kimberlite pipe like a funnel or carrot shape ( potentially full of carats)
this one is is possible 110ha at surface, sloping down to 30ha at 600m depth.
Considering these things go down several km's deep, this could be a biiiiig payoff pipe.
