Well there you have it, 259 isn't actually a kimberlite. It's now believed the anomaly was caused by the large concentration of alluvial and Calonda material that had been eroded and collected in the depression.

I've said it before but I think this is a good thing. These diamonds are coming from somewhere, and if they are coming from another kimberlite we won't have to dig 200m in a swampy area to get to the good stuff.

I'm sure the non-holders who have been talking up this target will paint this as terrible news but I think it is far from it, personally.
