They stated in the DFS that Kyte would be the first pit mined. It has gold at surface and down to about 30 metres with a roughly 2:1 strip ratio. It is also in an area that will be free digging with zero blasting required. I don't know what the actual mining costs will be, however the ease of mining and low strip mean that ore will be available very quickly and cheaply, thus a high margin pit.
Amazing drill results could bring forward mining in some of the other pits but I believe Kyte's high margin will take a lot of beating.
