I am no good at linking things so look at figure 2 on page 12 of the DFS. The pretty coloured graph shows Kyte then Bruno and Helens coming onstream after 4 months or so.

That is logical as even though Kyte is free digging with a very low strip ratio it is also the furthest away from the proposed plant. Bruno is also well away (in comparison to Helens e.g.) but it looks as though they plan to mine towards the plant with Bruno/Lewis link next and then Lewis.

Figure 4 on page 13 shows the planned material movement. Kyte being a low strip surface pit has approx
250k bcm's per month which expands to 500k bcm's when Helens and Bruno come on line.

A 1.2mtpa plant needs approx 3500 tonnes a day arriving at the ROM. Using the 100 tonne trucks they plan to means 35 trucks a day at the ROM. Kyte mineralisation starts at surface or within 5 metres so they will only need to get things moving a week or so out from plant testing. We don't know the size of the planned ROM which will also determine how much pre-mining is possible without stockpiling away from the ROM. Keeping double handling of ore to a minimum is the key to making money on low grade ores. Some places dump directly into the crusher rather than use FEL's.

It is amazing how much info is available in the DFS when I have the time to study it and not just scan the headlines. The technical discussions of how the resource was estimated are a revelation in how thorough the geo team and consultants have been.
