bagasas, correct the discharge volumetric flowrate is at standardised conditions which can be easily converted into mass flow. The problem with trying to make a direct proportional relationship between flow and cross sectional area for a compressible fluid, is that the discharge rate is also dependent on the pressure and density upstream of the choke.
