I don't know the grade cut-off when production ended in 2016.. but I am guessing 0.2-0.3 g/t, and I also guessing that the POG at the time it was not economic to process and additional there was time limit produce before Thai Government shutdown. My recollection that they have 6 months to produce after suspension... Hence we have a 40koz low grade stockpile.. KCN has yet to disclose the profitability of processing this low grade ore stockpile, but POG has substantially increased since 2016.
Bonds are signaling that we heading for recession... Central banks continue to raise interest rates as they priority to tackle inflation... however to detriment that many economies will sink into recession.. UK just narrowing avoided one... NZ is half way there reporting 0.6% GDP growth. If bond yields continue to signal and screaming out that Central banks need to pivot.. I reckon POG will be at least around these level if not above US$2K/oz
