"Price discovery" is a joke on the ASX with manipulators running rampant. What has just occurred its the fruits of the manipulation's that have been going on for years have been debased and additional favoured shareholders substituted for the debasement. Unfortunately large supporters are similarly penalised. They, however, tend to be long term holders who see potential in the actual business instead of turning the company into another CuDeco of which there is a danger with so much upside. The "broader market" tends to do what it is expedient in the light of the realpolitik. The manipulators will work on it mercilessly with no regard to esoteric notions such as the Corporations Act or "price discovery".
