I was told something similar. I was also told a royalty adjustment was in the works only to be told later it wasn't. I have since been told the Thais have not delivered on the things agreed upon therefore cash is back on the table and the Thais are keen to settle because its causing problems with other international deals they are pursuing.
One thing I'm confident on is that KCN are not going to settle unless there is something extra coming back. If this wasn't the case they would have settled already.
