I don't see why he'd want buybacks more than anybody.
He's at an age where dividends would benefit him more than buy-backs, unless he expects more big bonuses to come his way.
I'd expect him to 'appear' enthusiastic after so many people jumped on LG's bandwagon (which actually risked bankrupting us), demanding buybacks so strongly, when we were ramping up and literally out of cash with short term debts owing.
