I am not sure if i am reading it the right way but i would have rather read that the team was running the ruler over several projects to acquire rather than how it was put out in release IE (While our local teams in Scandinavia have been conducting due diligence and closing the acquisition of this project under the BHP Exploration Alliance, our business development team has continued its global search for assets to strengthen our project portfolio in addition to the ongoing Alliances.”
The use of the term "our team has continued its search for assets" sort of makes me lean to they are still looking and are not really any closer.
The good news re todays announcement is that it costs us virtually nothing but adds to our prospects, but to be honest my smile reading todays announcement vanished when i saw Nickel.
