Appreciate many here being frustrated with the slow progress in closing an acquisition. Having said that though, if you look at the majority of acquisitions made by other companies over the years, very few if any, ever get off the ground. You then see management pivot from lithium to gold to uranium and any other mineral that is running hot at the time. Meanwhile cash reserves dwindle and sure enough the company attempts to raise funds to chase something else. Every acquisition seems to end in a duster.

In our case, BHP have paid for the exploration costs which would have been funded by us if the arrangement wasn't in place. Disappointing that they have reduced funding, but something is better than nothing i feel.

In any case, I'm here for Penikett. Anything else is a bonus. Although frustratingly slow, I would prefer that they land on something with some real potential. The old PLS team i was in contact with, were approached every week with many folks trying to flog a piece of dirt that they claimed held vast riches. It's an unfortunate truth that the majority of assets available to purchase are rubbish. Only when you enter the data room and spend time investigating the area do you find its junk. Hence the long time required to land on anything. Then you go through the consultation in determining a price. I can dare say that the KRM team would equally be frustrated. More patience required from myself it would seem.
