Through my experience with these sort of explorers,
if spodumene was encountered the announcement would of stated it.
The geo s do have a uv light to detect spodumene.
By drilling deeper, they are hoping to find some spodumene deeper down.
They are now forced to incease the drilling campaign
as there isn't any spodumene close to surface, however the spodumene could be deeper down.
