Just because the Cu is fairly deep, doesn't mean that it can't be a highly profitable mine, many underground mines are profitable, they don't all need to be open pit to make fortunes.
The Kitumba PFS made the project border-line feasible dependent on a more stabilized POC. However, the commentary from the recent announcement where the Optimized PFS will take account of the higher grades and cost savings is going to "substantially" improve economics. In other words, Kitumba should - on paper at least be highly feasible.
