The gas and oil is very variable in the Cooper Basin and depends on the temperature underground over millions of years which is the reason it varies… it was different over short distances.
Santos also stated the gas has to be hot to extract it efficiently, so the current temperature of the rocks also matters.
From memory the region is a long way from the Santos area, just that it is part of the same rock formation.
The test at kiwi also has no bearing on pel182, it is a different rock formation.
