If there is one thing that Covid and the War in Ukraine has taught us is that supply chains can be severely disrupted and in terms of food security it is important IMHO that Australia progresses to be as self sufficient as possible in the provision of fertiliser for our farming industry.
We have the naturally occurring resources and the chance to be self sufficient so why not make it happen rather than let it fall in a heap because next time we have a global pandemic or a major war we might not be quite so lucky to pull through relatively unscathed.
To me it just makes good sense to get this industry going in Australia, gives us a backup plan at the very least if we need it
