My suspicion is that it’s a bargain hunter. You’ll notice there are now 7 million shares sitting at 2.7 cents.
Personally, I think now is a great time to buy, especially considering the recent satellite imagery of the second step-out hole, 220m from the initial discovery. Of course, there’s always speculation about whether they’ll hit mineralization again, but given:
• The GxM score of the first discovery • The strategic location of the mine • KNB’s recent expansion of the mine area
I’m confident that this presents a solid buying opportunity.
A good comparison is Larvotto, which discovered gold nearby. Their mine is actually smaller than Koonenbury’s and they’re only 6–8 months ahead of KNB in development.
