I entered the story when drill hole 003 was released. Prior to that, most of the drilling was oriented parallel to the structural control, which appeared to be a series of “director specials.” Hole 003 was the first to cut across the structure, successfully revealing the true thickness of the high-grade zone—approximately 50–60 meters within a broader mineralized corridor of around 80 meters, as shown in the section.

Drill holes 004 and 005 were drilled parallel to the system, targeting a more distal, lower-grade position. Given the presence of coarse gold in the system, some grade variability between these holes is expected. Therefore, seeing grades of 0.97 and 0.7 over broad intervals is not surprising.

There was a comment suggesting the system is complex or difficult to model, but I disagree. The mineralization is emerging as remarkably consistent, with broad intervals and higher-grade zones concentrated near the shear contact. The granite appears to be a favorable host rock for gold, likely due to its susceptibility to fracturing and faulting, which facilitates episodic gold deposition. In contrast, the sedimentary units may deform under increased strain and act as an aquiclude, restricting fluid flow.

The next series of drill holes—006 through 010—are designed to cut across the structural corridor, rather than being subparallel to either the high-grade zone or the more distal, lower-grade areas. Historical near-surface drilling has already demonstrated grade continuity, so if the upcoming results resemble those of hole 003, a significant re-rating of the project is warranted.
