I'm a recent addition to the share register so apologies in advance if any of my analysis is wrong, but...
It appears Atlas had A$9.042m of tax losses available to carry forward as at 30 June 2023 (note on bottom of page 36 in the FY23 AR). Also worth noting Atlas is (for now anyway) a base rate entity for tax purposes, paying 25% tax instead of the full 30%. If Atlas breaches the $50m mark in FY24 this could have an impact on the full year tax position and next year tax position but could be a blip when/if pearl prices fall and turnover falls below $50m.
eitherway - $9m of tax losses and the strong price driven YTD revenue should result in a rather hefty cash balance when earnings are reported at 1H
