I read a recent article about current spending habits of middle-class-wealthy Chinese ladies.
Apparently, they still plan to spend up big on luxury adornments, but they are moving away from handbags and low-value jewellery and moving towards buying more investment-grade jewellery.
Hopefully this means they move away from the cheaper freshwater Pearl jewellery and more towards jewellery using saltwater pearls, especially the higher value saltwater pearls. If that happens, that would suit Atlas Pearls just fine!
