watch the video i linked just above, but basically adjusted is inclusive of addbacks, in the banking space this is how we work out the realistic performance and on-going ability for an entity to service their obligation, if they have a low net profit or even a loss for servicing but with the provided financials it is inclusive of one off expense/ depreciation/ interest etc, they can generally be added back to get a truer reflection of what their surplus is (or deficit)
