Just because you hold something for a long time doesn't mean that it's going to appreciate in value. Patience will reward sometimes. It didn't for my bro. He bought Myer at their IPO in 2009 for $4.10. Today, even after Sol got a board seat they're in the 80c range. So, after 14years, patience hasn't done much for him.
