Profit taking, and people are welcome to do that aren't they? The market is volatile especially for retail where the immediate future is a bit shakey but in the long term there is enormous optimisim and buy ratings for many downtrodden retail stocks. Day trading is for gamblers, investors don't worry over the market moving up and down as it always did and always will do - that's the whole point of the market its a living entity pulling each way
