You make it sound like having a small amount of entities controlling a large number of shares is a bad thing!!
In my experience it is a good thing.
These parties have a vested interest to ensure a profitable outcome and are in a position to control the destiny of an organisation, and it also means that if another party wants to purchase a decent stake then they need to bid the price up (and yes I recognise this hasnt happened to KFE).
