Future profit is what matters. So yes I look at future revenue but try to work out what profit growth in revenue will produce. Will come at at high or low cost, ie is it scaleable or will it require heavy debt, capital injections - which can be ok, or will it require margin compression which can be less ok. Will it lead to increasingly expensive or risky acquisitions to maintain the growth?
