My understanding is that those payments to non-controlling interests are likely related to the performance hurdles for some of the new aquisitions as not all of the new aquisitions are takeovers, still separate businesses that operate under the K+P banner therefore non-controlling. The payments may only be for a set period after aquisition, would have to look at the aquisition agreements (might be something in older presentations / ARs). Its good if the new aquisitions are meeting performance targets and if the payments are temporary that money ends up with shardholders sooner or later.
