Funding can't be that hard, it's just the terms that might hurt. Unless the major SHs are kicking up a stink. SS was keen to wind things up a while ago if I recall correctly.
My guess is they are either trying to finalise some contracts to get cash flowing and avoid a lousy CR. Or there are merger talks going on in the background. Spire Global may have been a suitor, but it is having some real headaches of its own. Lots of insider sales, despite some seemingly good news.
