What if they didn't raise the capital and went belly up in a few months? People would be complaining that their investment was worth ZERO and management screwed them over!
I suspect most switched on investors in KSS are currently sitting on a 2-300 % + return. Thinking you could time the market and buy a week before launch, expecting a huge return overnight is an amateur move.
The market had factored in the anticipated launch and also the fact that ISRO have a near perfect launch record well before the night of the launch.
Given the above, there was no surprise the launch was a success.
