I'm not a legal guy by any stretch and only have a vague idea of legal concepts but why would the Court kick the can down the road to Jan 29th instead of just rendering a verdict of GTFO right now?
I don't understand why we keep reading these "delayed decision until some magical further date" postings.
The only reason I can think of and it may not be the reason so happy to be corrected is the Court is giving LYC time to get some results from its production so they can then squash the case without any potential blowback or make it so no such appeals can be filed anymore with results as the proof in the pudding.
Equally it could be the other way. So is the court simply hedging?
