On a previous thread, someone wrote a list of Australian decisions which would make you question the sovereign risk of investing in Australia. The recent super trawler back flip was one of them, but the list was pretty long.

I think if LAMP was located in Australia we could well be not very far advanced from our current position.

I think those who bag Malaysia incessantly can do so in an absolute sense, but in a relative sense I query whether we would be any further ahead if we were located here. And that is before you weigh the explicit financial advantages to locating in Malaysia.

On the whole, putting to one side vexatious litigants, I think we have been dealt with pretty well by the Malaysian "system"
