Yes there are slightly modified rules when a market based (ie either on or off market) takeover is in progress. That requires notification next day I think of plus 1% movements to enable all parties to make important decisions. I was simply responding to the overarching regulation.

If Hancock acts to accumulate under the creep provisions and then increases or indeed decreases its stake by more than 1%, the requirement in my earlier email prevails. So we will know if she creeps. But in reality, takeover tactics would mean that if Hancock wanted to start a takeover, they would launch straight into it with an unconditional offer imo. If they do a notification because they have bought over 1% of LTR shares, I would not be anticipating an immediate offer for all shares.
