Not only the technical know how but the proprietary equipment. It will be sometime before the West can compete effectively and do it quickly. A lot of time will be lost without Shenge. I personally do not see a problem with Shenge. The company is Au subject to AU rules/regs and the plant is in Greenland. China has a long term plan to global dominance, but it will not get there unless GGG is treated fairly and well. A forced buy out is unlikely as Shenge would need 90% control per AU regs. Just IMO!
