    Hi @loisl1978, LPD is only zero-waste if it can sell all of the residue from P1 as well, which I think is what you're asking about. From the latest quarterly:

    This is by no means a sure thing yet, but its possible. In that case, the answer to your question is that the residue is sold to local governments or whoever is dealing with landfill, and used to encapsulate it.

    As for the form it takes, it is about 40% water (from memory) and, of the solids, about 60% is gypsum. So it is a very wet clay.

    If it can't be sold for the landfill use, perhaps GHD can come up with something else. Otherwise, it will need to be stored in a big a hole.
