This is really poor form by L1. They are locking in PMC holders into a structure that is obviously not working so they can make more money on their Platinum merger (higher FUM than otherwise).
Blind Freddy can see that if they were to complete the conversion to the unlisted fund they would be inundated with redemption requests at NTA.
This looks ripe for an agitator to buy 5% and call for a wind up of the company.
