Hi guys, some reading from another pipe with G10D Garnets.

interestingly Lucapa is shown on their Diagram, an omen perhaps?
.... "Sub-calcic chrome-pyropes, commonly designated G10, are the type of mantle-derived garnets that may give these indications. The occurrence of these characteristically purple-colored garnets is rare, being usually confined to diamondiferous kimberlites. Their occurrence as inclusions in diamonds of the peridotitic paragenesis suggests they are mineral phases that are stable in the nucleation and growth environment of diamond." .. as written in the link above.
