I do find there is a lot missing in the info provided in the ann's - as usual I guess !! - in that MetaKaolin base 'concrete' is NOT new & there has been a lot of research done on it for sometime. These research papers - google is your friend but the science direct website has a lot - are often mixes of Portland cement and Metakaolin/fly ash etc geopolymer 'binder', often as low as 20% being substantially superior in many respects e.g. one paper on use in high chloride environments e.g. seawalls etc

So I wonder ... what is the % of geopolymer used ? vs Portland cement or is this 100% ? which leads to the question ... what exactly is the IP they have ? is it an improvement in the process of making geopolymer ? or maybe the plant/process to mix it with Portland cement ?

Is this 'IP' a patent or an allied for patent that is in the process, in which countries ? or is it 'just' the Murdoch University general know how & facilities ? I have search 'Murdoch Metakaolin patents' etc & although they have many granted there is nothing that stands out.

Even if SUV & Murdoch 'just' got a % of the Australian market, with SUV's Kaolin resource, it could be big BUT I like the idea of 'world domination' something like Calix is in the process of doing with their Kiln patent & Portland cement makers via Leilac
