RFF does sound like it has some similarities eg. from an article about RFF "if the assets get revalued and the covenants are breached". That's exactly what happened to SIV, I think. So the question is, will the assets get revalued...it's hard to say.
Also, "We note that at RFF distributions exceed recurring profits, even ignoring cost capitalisation and capital raising continues." which is similar to RFG. Also a company you don't want to be likened to. RFG's troubles started after a stream of negative media attention, but their history of paying out most of earnings as dividends meant that they were then in a bad position relative to their high debt.
I don't have a thorough understanding of RFF, just it would worry me.
