I've worked in Mt Isa and the Hotels are overpriced and generally booked out.
most companies rent houses with big sheds and put all their field gear/samples etc in the sheds, and accom is for the field staff and doubles as site office.
yeh maybe they thought more co-op from Glencore, but Glencore isn't known for sharing its toys in the playground with other kids.
