2. They do not need to report from surface down if they report a deeper intersection and assay results are pending on the rest. This does not dilute the result, the intersection stands regardless of what is returned in the pending assays. In many old holes only the obvious mineralisation was assayed and often for only the commodity being searched for. All sorts of corners are cut in a mining/commodity price downturn. Carnaby are not cutting any corners and are, in my view, highly competent.
3. Nothing fishy at all, normal practice with big lab wait times to assay the juicy bits in an expedited fashion and the non-mineralised or lower grade visual mineralisation in the cheaper slower way.
