You can't just post a raise as being good or bad like that...

You can't just post a raise as being good or bad like that without putting perspective. What was the market cap? What was the good news? How high did the market cap or SP go to make that raise any good. What was the sentiment for gold at that time? That post is meaningless to most except for a handful here who witnessed it.

My recollection was that it was a particularly bad raise for shareholders because the SP plummeted fairly soon afterwards given hindsight, but to be fair it also could have been a good one had they found anything there. It was good for the company, but unfortunately wasted on bad quality Chinese drill rigs and a barge before getting non economical results.
