Yeah - guess what I was trying to say was something completely out of left field in Indonesia, specifically from some sort of environmental disaster/earthquake or something like a big royalty increase from the Indonesian government might disrupt the Ni market if it happened, because nearly all the world's upstream mining and downstream Ni metal production is now concentrated in one location in Indonesia.

As you say - LM8 are more likely to keep on finding gold and monetising the gold in WA and/or convert any WA based Ni plants and Ni infrastructure and all Ni exploration leveraging to Au exploration, with the chance of a big(ger?) gold discovery given the pretty good geology that they have in their ground. We have already seen WA located and permitted Ni sulphide plants and facilities (like tailings dams), personnel and drill rigs and the entire industry being repurposed into gold treatment options, as everyone wants gold out of the ground now, but cannot find free milling capacity, and trying to avoid the permitting delays and construction costs of building new gold mills. Fortunate in some parts of WA, such as this, that the geology gave them gold deposits close to nickel deposits.
