"How long to production" is a difficult question and it forms the basis of the share price comfort that I have for $2.

They will need to raise significant money to purchase plant, recruit employees, install infrastructure etc Circa $550M last I checked. Raising that kind of coin takes a long time. To raise that kind of money for a project in Argentina they will need to de-risk the shit out of it with rock solid off takes and a pilot plant that operates without problems.

Then they need to set the entire mine up through a construction process which always has delays in procurement, weather etc.

In my experience early stage miners experience a significant "Orphan period". During this phase shareholders (particularly unsophisticated, tech metals retail traders) get bored with the slow progress and slowly sell out as the share price stalls or reduces.

- YES i think they will get funding and this project will produce high volume, value lithium one day.
- Do I think they will be able to stick to their 2024 production timeline? -> NO.
- Do I think that shareholders will get bored and sell off during the boring funding to production period (orphaned)? -> YES.
- Do I think this project will get purchased by a major mining company before funding? - > PROBABLE.

I look for orphans or companies at the start of the discovery DFS process. So I might come back one day if LKE gets orphaned between now and production.
